i did this on my car. First tape up the window like you said. i wouldn't waste time removing the rear seat though, the whole window change shouldn't take more than an hour. Go to the bottom corner of the window seal and use a flat screw driver to pry out the L-shaped thing that holds the inner seal thing (on the outside of the window). once removed, pull that whole inner thing out and then you should be able to manipulate it to come out. you may make a mess even though it is taped. next set the new window on top (after cleaning of course) and start putting the gasket over it. this will take patience and it would help to have the right tool. i didn't, so it just took me a little longer. This is a very easy operation. just watch yourself take it out.

sorry a bit off topic, but my window defroster isreally slow, like with normal fog it will take arround 20 min to heat the window up... whats going on with that? what should i look at to fix this?
i'v never heard of a window defroster being the culprit to cracking a window tho... anyways good luck with that!

yeah when I put in another one I don't think I'm going to hook up the defroster.
