annoying airbox stuff

Looks like you have vacuum leak i had oil in my intake too until i took care of a small vacuum leak, could also be worn oil rings or oil from the crankcase vent tube

So my little K&N cone intake was looking surprising ratty and I had been thinking about going back to the factory airbox for the the heat shield so I figured I would do that today. Well on the bottom side of the cone was all this tar like black grease which was disgusting as hell and was all voer the area


Any thoughts? My first idea was power steering fluid... Couldn't tell for sure from looking at it though. Then I found this in the airflow sensor


Guessing that shit got through that damn filter. Is this something I need to worry about? I mean with the stadard airbox the intake will be nowhere near the stuff anymore, but should I be worried/take any precautions? Replace parts ect.
