steering wheel hub queation

I put a momo wheel and hub on my car and now sometimes there is a little bit of a grinding sound when you turn the wheel. the stock hub/wheel had some kina grease on it. do I need to put anything on the hub to make it stop? Oh and I'm gonna wire up the horn this weekend...finally :)

The hub sits on splines, greasing it wouldn't do anything. Did your car have an airbag before?

yep sure did...it only makes the sound some times...

Did you remove that white spring loaded pin that sticks out of the steering wheel? It rides on the airbag ring but you need to remove it when you put a non-airbag wheel in.

I am pretty sure I left that out but I need to take it off this week to do the horn so I'll check...I didn't have enough time this weekend to do it.
