    No Power

So one night i left my lights on (my mistake) charged the battery, worked for a few days. Then was completely dead. Bought a new battery, drove it with that battery for awhile. Car sat for a week, the new battery was dead. Charged it, drove it, sat for a few days, dead again. The alternator is good. The battery should be good. No lights are left on. Not sure why my battery keeps draining. Is there something I am missing? thanks.

How do you know your alternator is good? Have it tested by an experienced shop. If good, you probably have a current draw somewhere, which is very common in older BMW's. Places to look would be in the rear wiring harness near the brake lights, trunk boot, and under the rear seats. Peek in your trunk, when closed, through your backseats and see if light is on.
