Okay so a metal coolant pipe rusted a hole on my 1985 318i m10 the pipe is about less then a foot underneath the intake manfold and i can't find a replacement online what is this pipe called where can i buy it?? Would it be okay to just replace it with a rubber hose? At each end of the pipe it has a rubber hose conected and one other hose in the middle

It's #15 in the diagram and it does have a t for a hose that goes to the intake. In theory you could replace it with rubber (certainly short term) but I suspect BMW used metal due to the heat from the block that would deteriorate the rubber quite quickly.
