Tachometer not working, oil change lights stays ON with ignition off.

Hi there

I got a problem with my cluster, rpm gauge don't work anymore, and the services lights stays ON even with ignition off. temperature gauge seems to work intermitently too !

i'v heard about bad Si boards batteries, and i'v just checked them, one is 1.2v and the other is 0v.


can this be related to the tachometer and temp gauge not working or they should work even without batteries ?

Change the batteries and you'll be happy again.

Check for corrosion on the board from leaking batteries. If there is any corrosion, don't bother with replacing the batteries. Get a new board.
