Windshield Wiper Issues?

Well, let's just forget that all of this happened.
After taking a week off due to Christmas/the flu, I took another look at the linkage.

Got it off in ~5 minutes with absolutely no difficulties.
I don't even understand what the problem was earlier...

Now I just need to find a new linkage!

Agreed, but in Washington state for a kid going to school and only working part time, there aren't many other options.

I did end up making a trip to the local Pick-N-Pull, and found this beauty just lying there.


Surprisingly, there wasn't too much left on her. But I did manage to snag a pretty clean linkage/motor out for $15, along with a few other miscellaneous pieces.

Considering the fact that I currently have the flu, and just spent about an hour in rainy 40°F weather, I might have to take a quick break before installing it.

Any suggestions on lube for all of the joints? Don't need this one breaking too...
