    Head gasket leak??

Hey guys looking to buy a bimmer but this (http://sandiego.craigslist.org/csd/cto/3481093407.html) has a head gasket leak. Any one know how much it's gonna cost? Or am I able to do it myself? I somewhat know my way around an engine and am mechanically inclined.

Soo just wondering if its worth the money..

You really need the special VANOS tools on this car to get the cam and VANOS timing right. Other than that it isn't too to difficult to work on the head. But I have to wonder why the car is priced that low if all it has is a bad clutch and head gasket problem.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Ya I'd assume there are more things wrong to justify that price

Yea but over all is it worth that price? And if I fixed it up how much you think I'd be worth?

I'd do it if I was bored.

But it's a gamble- if the motor's shredded, it's MAYBE worth that in parts...
