Just dropped in a 3.91diff on the 318i!

...and boy does it feel quicker! :D
The diff is an open one (got it from a friend so I cant really complain)
and its definately an improvement over the 3.64 standard one!
Main problem is that my car is 4speed manual, but anyway...;)
My top speed went from 200km/h to 185km/h
but at least it no longers require an airfield to reach these figures!
In terms of 0-60mph figures, things got slightly better too...
I guess I m near 10sec now? What do you reckon?
Anyway, just want to recommend this to everyone with a M10!

noted, but how would a 4.10 lsd do in there? would accelleration be increased more over the 3.91, or is 4.10 too much for the m10?

nah should be fine with a 4.10, wouldn't go any higher though. and I'm only talking about 5spd cars here.

        Well,thats true...a 4speed manual with a 4.10 would top out at 90mph! :!:
