Do any of you guys have to refill your coolant every few days or so? I have to and it's becoming expensive. I had a pressure test done and the guy tightened all of the pipes and said it was fine, but now my coolant reservoir is empty every few days and I have to refill. I don't see any signs of leaking so I have no idea what's going on.

Possibly your head gasket as everyone was saying. You should replace your head gasket. Alternatively because you don't seem sure, you can continue driving the car and potentially replace your engine soon.1990 332i, 4 door

Chocolate milk on your dipstick is the result of coolant mixing with the oil.
As said, stop driving the vehicle, or you will be crying on here when you fry your engine from diluted oil.No E30 ClubOriginally posted by MrBurgundyAnyways, mustangs are gay and mini vans are faster than your car, you just have to deal with that.

the milky shit is most likely crankcase moisture mixing with some oil vapors and crankcase vapors. It makes a weird yellowish nasty buildup around the dipstick and the oil fill cap in worse situations. I can be caused by short drives in the e30 where the engine does not always get to fully operating temp. moisture builds up and never burns off cause the engine isnt hot enough (going from luke warm to cold back and forth several times) Its like a glass of ice water sweating on your moms coffee table with no coaster underneath. (not really, but really)
I commute about 2 miles to work and class. My m42 has this milky jizz from time to time. Its not the HG. i just have to go drive it hard and get it warmed up nice, then the stuff goes away. try it out. might be youre issue
