    stripped lug nuts

so i have a stripped lug nut that just wont come out with a socket wrench, what do i do? can i drill it out and if so what do i drill it out with?

You could try hammering a smaller size socket on to it - the socket will likely be trash afterwards, but it often works. I did that when I had a stripped out locking lug on an old car of mine.

Nah he meant PB Weld, a revolutionary product from the makers of PB Blaster and JB Weld, which when mixed together form a useless, smelly black sludge.

That kinda reminds me of what happens when you make a poor choice of mixing IDB with KY Jelly.

when you're at sears trying to get them to warranty replace the socket you destroy when you try the above methods, buy a bolt off kit. http://www.sears.com/sr/javasr/produ...&bidsite=CRAFT

I have nothing to contribute here, except to ask one question: how the hell do you strip out a lug nut?

                      i actually can contribute here.

i bought a set of these and it worked like a charm when my rusted CSB bolts heads stripped.

Only if she drank a quart of Pepto Bismol earlier in the day.
