I had a Kirkland in my M10 car that lasted a good 6 years. Since they no longer sold them I went to Advance using the online $30 coupon so picked them up for about $85 exchange. Sadly I went through 3 or 4 with all but one being replaced during the 24 mo warranty.
When I picked up my A6 which needed a battery they were $180 so I went to an industrial battery shop near me who buys pallets of factory seconds aka blems. Paid $54 and it's still going strong after 3 years. His e30 prices are even less.
