turbo's are for sissy stunna's. he's going to stick NA because there's no point getting retarded power. with the money saved you could get a LOT of track time and track time is WAY more important than a turbo.

i think he's going to stick with the m42 for now. he's just trying to learn shit.

btw- my e36 > his e30. and thats my old e30.

stick to the M42 until you can keep up with the M20s. Then drop in an S50 and relearn how to drive all over again. That is what I had to do.

The S50 makes a lot more power than the M50 so tis worth it. If you are going to do the M50 get the M52B28 aluminum block and then do the buildup. The downside is the alum limits you on boost.

Im *tempted* to put a recently available turbo on my M50B30, tempted. Dont know the point honestly, its only fun in 3rd+ gear. Right now the money is better spent on a quaife.
          Im now E30less.

You've been saying that for years...

I agree with those that say why not put an S50 in if you are going through all the trouble? A stock M50 isn't a large upgrade for all the work and money in my book. An S50 is a whole new ball game.

Let's drive fast and have fun.
