Odomeater problems

Hey guys,

I'v been reading a lot about the SI board and the batteries going dead. Does the SI board have anything to do with the odomeater not working? My odomeater just stoped working and since then its worked intermitently. The most I have seen it work since it stoped was 7KM's and the least was around 1KM. Does anyone know what might be causing this?

One or more of the odo's gears are stripped. You can replace the whole speedometer or you can replace the broken gears. The gears are about $25 a piece. Do a Google search, I forgot the URL that sells them.

Thanks, I took it apart last night and yes the middle grear thats orange is stripped...:( Anyways thanks for the help!!
