i want to make a custom oil pan skid plate. can anybody help me with some dimensions? running m52 engine

Honestly, your best bet is to take measurements on your car and work it out. Having people give you measurements will probably be more work for you overall, unless someone happens to produce skid plates and gives you a fully dimensioned drawing.
The M52 uses an E28 M20 oil pan in an E30 swap, right? As long as it does not hang lower than any other stock E30 oil pan, you can probably use the OEM skid plate. Installation does require drilling holes in the frame and installing rivet nuts though, which is a big pain. If you have a MIG welder handy you could probably just weld some nuts on instead.
