Wiper Blades - Can you go bigger?

hey guys i was just looking at the wipers on my car, i ca't remeber the stock size but i have it on my car. if i remeber correctly its 20inch, but correct me if i am wrong.

the main question here is can you fit a larger wiper blade on? and would you have to adjust the position of the wiper arms to do it? if you can fit larger wiper blades on i'll be on it like a fat kid on cake.

btw, what kind of wiper blades do you guys use?

personally i use bosch mirco edge.

if you have questions, comments or an answer for me leave it here :)

    thanks

The only thing i want to take car of is that nasty line of muck the wipers leave on the very left of my windsheild, i'm getting tired of wiping it off with a tissue at 40 mph :x

bigger? Doesn't 2" of your right wiper hang off anyway?

rainX and PIAA super silicone wipers are the best. my silicone wipers lasted me nearly 2 years. and are only only now showing slight signs of streaking. for at least 1.5 years i can say that they've been wiping clean perfectly fine.

rain-x doesn't do much good for mud does it? And you guys must not get much rain. that wouldn't last 10 minutes here in the NW. :)

I need new blades but I'm going to hold out until summer to replace them. only 4 more months of rainy season left :P

i dont think a larger wiper would fit on the drivers side unless you rotated the arm a notch or two (am in correct in assuming they are splined like vws) the blades would hit the widow seal on the driver side edge...

Damn, that is like one of the most annoying aspects of my car.

Rain-X is awesome stuff. I rarely use my wipers.

seriously.... I used rain-x and it's awsome. Never had any issues or possible accidents happen.
