My 90 M20B25 runs fabulously on 87 octane crap. Well, as fabulously as a 184k mile 16 year old engine can.

The M42's require 91 octane stock so I figure a Chip wont require anything more then the $$ for purchase

          No I haven't.......

          I just found that Tuner sells a JimC chip w/ +12hp & +15ft tq.

          Also I'd rather have my M42 then a M20 anyday ;)

I think it's a matter of preference.. from what I understand the MarkD chip gives you increased torq/hp across the board where most chips give you a boost @ WOT.

Do they make a chip that is made specifically for an M20 with 19lb injectors using a stock AFM?
I make a chip for either 91 or 93 octane and 17/19 lb injectors.

Yes I did have some shipping delays recently. There were a few reasons for that:

                    1) my orders to the USA are shipped from Ohio by a friend as a favour. He usually ships on weekends, but sometimes he is out of town. He was also quite busy over Christmas and early new year. (orders received after Christmas were sent 2 weeks later)

                    2) A few orders got sent to my older email address, and they were delayed while I was on vacation from Dec 8 to Dec 31.

If anyone wants a chip, I'm still here and plan to be for a long time. I'll be posting a note on my site to say that it could take 10 to 14 days to receive the chip after ordering. When I was able to ship directly from Canada for onlyt $5 USD, (with a tracking number) this was not an issue. That postal service is no longer available, and the only option to ship from Canada is Fedex or UPS at roughly $25 USD to ship. So I am using my friend in Ohio, who ships as soon as he can.

That chip will be available in about a month. (it's not a poplular item)

I've had many issues delaying progress this year, including a hard disk crash on Jan 17 where I lost all email since June 7, 2005. So if anyone sent email, it's gone - please re-send.

At 600 ft. ASL and temps never going over about 90 F at the very most, my car is quite happy with 87. Now my POS van on the other hand sounds like it has a tuning fork bouncing around in one of the cylinders ...
