yeah i havent even got the head off yet (everything but the torx). I was planing on getting it flat for sure and maybe port and polish depending on how much it costs.

By the time you get the head off, replace the head bolts/studs whatever change gaskets, machine the head, etc... I could have had this engine lol. Granted I will be putting in a lot of new stuff on the engine to ensure its in good shape. I didnt want to say this just...because but... the engine I am getting has 117k on it and comes from a 1988 325iX. I am getting it PLUS a hood for $200.
