    Alarms/Keyless entry

Hey guys, looking for a basic alarm and keyless entry system. Nothing fancy as we all know e30s are not rice mobiles. Just lock unlock. Suggestions, brand names you would suggest?

Search comes up with so much useless shit. To take the time to weed out every page is wastefull. I can just come on here get a few people to give input into what they have on their car and go with that is so much quicker. BTW http://www.commandoalarms.com/itm10002P.htm Along those lines i guess. I got quoted 300 bucks for an install with product today, found that way too ridiculous.

You can get the necessities pretty cheaply I think.

Here's a pretty good how too, if you're interested on keeping the cost low and doing it yourself.

http://bmwalarm.vstore.ca/ I think I will end up getting a kit from these guys. Unless I start hearing bad things about them. They have pretty much everything I am after in an alarm/ keyless entry. Also has the nice key sets.

I have the best cheap alarm I have ever seen. It is a Taiwan made generic with every feature I could ever want...except remote start. I sell them for $175 installed.

No, I havent bought an alarm yet. I have been really busy with other projects at the moment so my funds are a little tied up. I would really like to get it before I go on vacation in June but I am not sure if that time frame will work out since I am trying to do 5 things at a time with this car.
