    Which Gauges?

I found an A-pillar for the E30 and want to get it. There are 2-3 gauge pods that I found. I wanted to know besides an oil pressure gauge, which ones should I get? I am not running turbo or nitrous. I want to get into a little AutoXing but nothing much until I get out of college and then I want to put the S50B32 EURO 3.2l in it and race. Any thoughts? I don't know if 3 will be to flashy or if 2 won't be enough, I want a sleek look but I want people to see them to cause they look bad ass. Check out the NEXUS series at autometer these are the ones I am probably going to get.

    Thanks

    VDO Vision or its rice.

That location is rice all on its own.

The fact that you want guages to have guages seen is rice.

those guages are cool and all with the color change for warning you when levels are too high but the fact they have a remote control and a demo function just makes me want to shoot everyone that has them

Oh, bor cmon stay away from that crap. if u dont NEED them then dont spend money on it. why buy some crap for a BMW when it belongs on a honda. No offence but those are the type of BMWs i walk by and shake my head.:tsk:

oil pressure you allready have one, and for AutoX you dont need it, youll be too worried about were the next set of cones are and you wont be paying attention to it. save your money and buy a set of good tires.

Personally I think every car needs an oil pressure gauge, (I have a manual coolant temp gauge in mine too because I don't trust the stock one) but plain is better. As for the a pillar pod, yea that's pretty ricey..........................
If yo're gonna put a pod in go with the one that mounts in the sunglasses holder, or the one that replaces the ashtray.

I'm am just asking which gauges would be the most benificial? I need to get the oil pressure for all uses, not even autoxing. and that demo thing and controller is extra money I probably wouldn't waste my money on that. But the gauges can be order to a specific color, atleast thats what the sales person said.

Anyone that has anything of value to share? and really I don't care if it looks stupid I am just asking about gauges and which ones I should get that would be most valuable. I don't know if I will get the a pillar but that put aside what about the gauges.

Damn... those Podi gauges are NICE! But expensive though. So beyond the cost of the unit itself, what else is needed?

Most popular displays are: voltmeter, oil pressure, oil temperature, coolant temperature.

When you configure the Podi vent gauge the required senders are added and the price updated. All wiring is included.

If you are looking for a traditional 52mm round gauge, I make a color matched BMW orange line of gauges with a while needle.
