    Car on the blink (literally)

I was starting my car this evening, and it starts up fine, but as soon as I switch on the lights and stereo, the rpm wanes to about 500, and everything electrical in my car blinks a few times in rapid succession and then the car goes dead. I was able to avoid this by keeping revs up the next time I turned it on, but the whole car still 'blinked' at random every 10 minutes or so while I was driving.

My battery is new, 75AMP (66 is the standard)
    I'm running HID's
    I'm running a high-compression engine.

I'm assuming that my alternator is quitting on me... any second opinions?

Alternator... OR... belt could be slipping on it real bad. See how bad the belt is.

Belts are all new, tightened to spec. Probably the alt then. Thx Will.

You should have a 650-725 CCA battery...

Do you know what the battery voltage is with the car running? Should be around 13.5-14.0v If its under 13, new alternator.

Turned out to be a loose alternator wire. My alt was putting out 13.94V so I'm good. Thanks for the feedback.
