    The sensor is a probe you stick through the fins of your radiator. Has a wiring diagram and decent set of instructions. If you have a multimeter and a good set of crimpers it shouldn't take long at all.

      You could Also always wire your fan to turn on with the ignition. If you still have issues with overheating make sure to bleed it by cracking the little plastic bleed screw and revving the engine to about 3000 RPM. once you see straight coolant and no bubbles come out of the bleed screw you are good to go.
