    No, there are physically no LEDs on the board!

      Here's a pic from before i changed the batteries. Just below the batteries in the pic you can see the pins where the LED board should be. Tach worked fine for 9 years before I opened this up and discovered it was missing, So I'm assuming it's not needed to run the tach.

          Didnt take one. I did check that I got the new batteries installed with correct polarity, that's why I took this pic.
