    check engine 1222

My engine check light came on today during idles so I did a stomp test and it came out to code 1222. I thought it was my o2 sensors and was pretty bummed out to have to blow some money on a new one.

BUT... I realized later that my dipstick wasn't in all the way (haha.....). I can't check if my check engine light is still on until tomorrow since I don't feel like losing my parking spot..(living in the city stinks) but would that cause a 1222 error like that? Or should I look out for something else?

    THANKS!

1222 is a running rich code which can be a vacuum leak. Te dipstick could cause so if you can't find any other leaks try resetting your DME by disconnecting the battery and see what comes up
