No lie. I'm broke and didn't have the funds to get it. My tire wouldn't have even lasted the week if i did order it.

    Is what it is

Dump the toe to 0. I ran with over 2 degrees of camber on my miata with zero toe. Wear was pretty even for 30k miles with two track days on them. Thats what I would do. Also see why the caster is out. Check your tie rods and ball joints. Could have a worn part that will cause stuff to move around.

Why would you pay someone when you know that shortly after you pay them, you are going to have to pay them to do it again? "Just play on the one side" means that you can't align that side precisely. By definition, it's not aligned.

Why the hell did you have the car aligned when you know the control arm is bad?

Well i have a bad driver CA. So the numbers are off there. You don't wanna see the reading for the back lol.

But my CA had already been replaced on pass side because it was scary loose. More then likely why the tire wore out prematurely

    Cover the basics first:

    1. Like fast cornering?

    2. Are you sure your front end is tight? Worn BJ's or tie rods can change the alignment with a bump.

    3. Do you trust the place that did your alignment? I used to work at a shop... I've seen mechanics use tricks to make an alignment look good on paper to get out of doing the work... granted, this only works if the car drives straight. However, the alignment isn't necessarily good even if the car drives straight... just saying.

You have major castor issues there.

While only toe is adjustable in stock configuration and that can be done pretty easily with toe plates, putting the car on an alignment rack every now and then with reveal any front camber or caster issues or any issues with the rear alignment.

As pointed out .04 deg is insignificant and won;t cause excessive tire wear. But there is too much difference in the front cross camber, too little right side camber, as well as the obvious left caster error. I can't see what the rear numbers are.

.04 degrees is insignificant in my book, but I just daily my car and drive "spiritedly" on the street. I also have never dropped money for alignment time on the e30 because all you can adjust is toe (if the car is on stock suspension), which is perfectly DIY'able. .125" (1/8") of toe in the garage with strings and jackstands works perfectly for me. No abnormal tire wear and she tracks straight. If your caster is still fubar'd after a new control arm, look into new (m3) control arm bushings. E30's like a bit more caster than stock.

    started a topic Alignment questions

    Alignment questions

So I just had two new tires installed because my front passenger side was severely worn. I attributed it to toe being out. Here are the before and after.

How much of of a difference is 0.04°... Doesn't seem like much? Also, i know my driver camber is out as my CA is bad.

Any help understanding would be great
