Part # Help - Convertible Third Brake Light Gasket

Could somebody please help finding the "Convertible Third Brake Light Gasket" part number?

    My toolbox is getting flooded.

I tried searching but no luck. Thanks.

There is no separate part number for the gasket, it's a part of the third brake light assembly. Your best bet is to try and find one used, or use create-a-gasket although that might get messy.

They are not even listed in realoem so used is probably your only option. You may have to buy the entire trunk though to get someone to part with it. The good news is they are usually cheap and if you find one that is color matched you could just buy a flush lid and delete the 3rd light

what color is your car? I plan to swap my trunk soon to one w/o the 3rd light. Do you need just the gasket?

I have an '89 schwarz. im not sure yet if i need just the gasket. If I cant buy a new gasket, I may just swap a trunk lid from a coupe or sedan.

When searching, I've seen both comments:
easy gasket fix and you cant buy just a gasket.

I was hoping somebody must have a part number just for the gasket that is not listed in realoem.

          Thanks guys.
