    Sound from back end?

Im getting a woo woo woo woo thats speed related. Its faster when your going faster and slower when you going slower. Ive heard plenty of bad diffs and it doesnt sound like that (im not ruleing it out? but what else could be bad and making the sound? Im gonna get under there this weekend what should I check? I just had the fluids on the car done but it was making the sound before fluids were done.

Sounds more like a bad rear wheel bearing. Usually a bad or noisy diff. makes constant whining noise. What your describing is a rhythmic noise usually associated with unbalanced rotating part or rubbing.

Dont know if it makes a difference but you can only hear it with windows up. And it pretty loud u can hear it over the stereo at moderate volume.

That would have to be some really fucked up wheel alignment for the rear wheels to make that much noise.

Define wheel alignment. I rotated the tires and apperantly I have two bent rims the inner lip is bent bad. I havent hit anything so I think mechanic shop is to blame. Would that be able to make that sound?

it could. if the wheel isnt getting "flush" with the pavement, itll make a noise every time it hits the imperfect spot. ive mostly only heard of it on cars thatve been in medium wrecks. my friends cavalier for instance, sounds like a propeller plane at 50+mph because his front right wheel is horribly mis-aligned and damaged from when he hit a freeway barrier. from what ive read, it can also be caused by very worn tires.

If the wheel isn't getting "flush" with the pavement in one spot you would feel it more than you would hear it.

I'm gonna say it's a rhythmic rubbing noise probably wheel bearing related.
