Fuel tank

Just wanna know if a 318i 1990 fuel tank would fit /work on an 1987 318i

I can't speak 100% on Aus models but in the US the 1988 model year and newer cars got a bigger tank than the 1987 and older. Best bet it to check production dates and compare part numbers in RealOEM.

318 models used the same tank from 9/83 to the end of production. So the tank will work.

jim has it right, the later 318i(s) got the smaller tank.
