Fitting a road bike in car?

This may seem like a strange question but is it possible to stuff a road bike, with both wheels taken off, into an E30M? My car is finally finished at the shop and the location happen to be near my favorite bike route. I figure if I can load the bike in the car without too much trouble, I can get there without asking for a ride.

    Thanks!

yup, shift to the lowest gear, remove front and rear wheels and you can stick it in there for sure

you may have to loosen the handlebar as well.

careful not to poke thru a seat with the fork.

I've stuffed my 56cm Specialized Allez into the back seat of my E30 coupe. Both wheels off and finding the sweet spot for the handle bars was needed. You MIGHT be able to cram up to a 60cm in there, but that would be pushing it.

thanks! I have a 56cm Scott CR1 Elite and the frame is shorter than most comparable bikes so it seems like I won't have a problem fitting it in. wooohooo!

Should be no problem, I managed to get my 61 cm DeRosa in the trunk but had to remove the sear post and wheels.
