Cluster lights not working + Car not charging

Noticed the other day that the alternator is not charging my car.

Battery light is NOT on when ignition turned on.

Has a new (bosch) alternator + regulator and new battery.

going to work so no time to test it now but also noticed that two other dash lights went out (parking brake and brake fluid). so 3/6 of my dash lights aren't working.

I know that the bulb to the exciter circuit controls charging and is the likely culprit. I'm going to test/replace it tonight but just wanted to get your opinion if something else in the dash circuit could be causing this because the other lights are out.

Is there a single fault that explains those three lights (battery light, park brake, brake fluid) going out and NOT lighting up when ignition is on? Fuses are good. Like something else going on in the cluster.

my plan if I can't figure it out is to jumper a bulb/wire from the coil to D+ on the alternator to at least get the car back on the road, let me know if this is a terrible idea lol.

    thanks

    UPDATE:

    so got off work early.

I have 12v at D+ so exciter circuit seems to be working.

so I disconnected the blue wire from the back of the alternator, grounded it, and when I turned the ignition on now ALL dash lights are on with ignition in "run".

So this means my new alternator is bad, right? sure I can replace it under warranty just want to make sure i'm interpreting this test right, thanks

edit: new alternator was bad, end thread.

still not sure why the other dash lights went out but i'm sure if I could understand the ETM i'd figure it out..

A bad alternator will cause all kinds of weird behavior in the electrical system. Strange a Bosch alternator failed so early.
