My hood won't open! The hood release pulls so far out that I had to remove the under dash trim. I still feel resistance but I'm afraid to pull any harder without snapping the cable or handle... any ideas? Help!!

You can pop open the hood from the front with a screw driver then examine the cable from there to see if it needs replacement. -
When you do get the hood open, lube the hell out of all four hinges. Yes, four. Then work the hood forwards/backwards until it's easy to work and you'll be good to go.Comment
