Hey guys. Is there a reason why these pop off sometimes? How do you guys avoid this? I don't want them falling into the cylinders...

Uugh, yeah I have had it happen too. I am not sure how to avoid having them pop off since old injectors get crusted into their bores in the manifold, and you usually have to yank pretty hard to get them out. That often pops the cap off.
To keep them out of your cylinders, you can pull the intake manifold and then remove the rail from it. -
TIL what those little caps on the bottom of fuel injectors are called...

These were new/rebuilt. Wish they just came as a single unit... Pulling the mani is real PITA! Oh well.... part of the game I guessComment
