    Abnormal rotor wear?

Yesterday my brakes seemed kinda odd, so when i got where i was going i hopped out and peered thought the spokes in my caps and noticed my rotors are wearing too damn fast.
    History:
    ATE Powerslots
    OEM pagids
Installed by me at the same time

There is a signifigant lip on the edge of the rotor and the slots are worn down quite a bit. I know rotors are going to wear but this is the first set of pads with these rotors, and i dont track my car (yet  ) so i dont see why they would be this worn? Any guesses

how well did you seat your pads? That usually makes a big difference in wear of the pad definately, and probably of the rotor...

Did you bed in/seat the pads properly?

How are the calipers? Do they retract smoothly, or are they sticking?

Swing wild, brake later, don't apologize.

I seated the pads the way is was taught by my shop teacher. I dont *think* they drag or anything but they might, because they are probably original to the car. I may just have to deal until i can get the 5 lug, Any other ideas?

are you sure the caliper is mounted properly and, more importantly, at the right angle?

sometimes it can be quite difficult getting the bolt to seat with all the crap that tends to be in the wheel well.

also check the slider bolts. If the boots are cracked or torn some crap could get in there and cause the sliders to stick. then the caliper would not be sticking but one side could be touching at all times. That happened to me.

(I ran the Powerdisks for some time and am not convinced)
            Im now E30less.

It is because you used CRAP OEM pads. They wear rotors heavily.

I'm using the same setup. rotors are fine after 10k. also the car stops real fast :)
