I just wanted to know if any one has ever done it using the original parts from cars that came like that and wat would i need.
They put the battery in the rear for weight distribution on the 6cyl cars, not really a big deal on a 4cyl to have the weight up front but if you'd like to move it back to the trunk like others have said used stock parts from a later e30 will do the trick. Just grab the cables and power distribution block from a parts car and be sure to use the smaller sized battery as the standard e30s rear mounted group 48/49 won't fit in the space in your trunk.

Well i already made plans with a guy who sells them. He has all the parts required from e30's that has the kit. Alot of ppl keep saying that but to me the trunk space that i have is really big and can hold a fairly big battery in there. oh one more thing, i saw these battery breather what does that do? do i need it?
