^ wow that would have been great to find out a longgg time ago. The same day I pick up the OEM tool... fuck. I got it on without the tool at all. It turns out, I'm pretty sure, you need to take the radiator out to get the right angle on that thing anyways.

I love it. Six pages of clutch fan goodness.

If all your trying to do is change the belt, undo the shroud clips, and slide the shroud back toward the engine. Put the belt over the fan then work it through the shroud. Slide shroud back up and reinstall.

ok so lemme check this is page 6 of how to remove your clutch fan.

    umm ok

but let me get this straight your alt. belt broke off and you are trying to replace it right? well have you tried taking another v belt and cutting it putting it around the pulley, getting a friend to hold the belt tight with a pair of say water pump pliers or channel locks if you will and holding the pulley in place while you strike the wrench. i dunno i just conjured that up so it might not work at all but it would be cheaper that buying a tupid bmw tool that youll never use again

the tool is junk. The holes arn't even close on both sides and there isn't enough metal to make them larger. The company said, " if the part is defective, you can recieve a full refund if the part is NOT used"

WTF of course it is used, you gave me a defective part you piece of shit.

I have hit the wrench with a hammer.
I have put all my weight on the wrench with my hands
I have put all my weight on the wrench with my foot
I have put a metal poll on the side of the wrench and hit it as hard as possible with a hammer.
I have heated and put liquid wrench and PB blaster all over the bolt.

    NOTHING works.

that stuiped ebay indian company better give my money back for the pulley holder so I can get another one from BMW.

just spend another few hours trying to get it...

I tried bending the holder to get both holes to line up but it wouldn't work at all. then i just tried using one and it dosn't work. the wrench moves sometimes but not the bolt...

The 32mm wrench can be bought for $10 at any bicycle shop. So, it won't break your heart to use a small hammer to hit it on the handle. Did anyone forget to mention that the thread is a reverse thread?

the wrench isn't going to fall if you have the belt still hooked up to the water pump pulley..
