    Econogauge not working

Hey guys, well after 5 months of the car being e to i swapped i never did it till today, wiring the tach. I used this link here:

and everything seemed to have went well so i put everything together. I started the car and the tach is reading, and the econ gauge goes from its off position (over at about 50MPG) to the "0" mark so im like "cool thats working too!, you dont get any MPG while at a stop!" But little did i know one i start driving that it stays at the 0MPG. The exact position the needle's in is about 4mpg all the time, some times right at 5mpg but otherwise under that at 4.

    replaced:
-SI battery's 5 months ago because i thought that was the original cause of it not working
-nothing else i can think of that would help fix this problem.

any input helps because its basically the same as having no tach but more annoying.

My first guess is that you aren't bringing the econometer signal to the cluster.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

As in i didn't connect it properly or it's not connected in the back of the cluster? I have all the plugs connected behind my cluster

I would check the ETM manual and see if your MPG signal from the DME is entering the cluster. That signal is calculated in the DME so it sends an output to the MPG gauge.
