    Auto Trans indicator

Folks, my 89 has an auto trans, and I can't find a part number for the bulb that illuminates the gear indicator. RealOEM and BMW Parts guys can't help. It has a black plastic base, push in type not the same as in the cluster. Anybody know the PN for this?

+1 on the possibility of broken wires. I took mine apart a couple weeks ago and found that to be the case.

Anyway, the bulb is BMW p/n 63-21-7-167-000. Listed in the parts catalog under 61.35 for the shift light bulb. The same bulb is used for the heater control panel and listed under 64.20.

#thatautolyfe , pull it all off and replace the bulb along with checking wires. Should be a easy fix.
