    Engine Oil Light and Sensor

Other than low oil, what causes the "Engine Oil" light to come on?
I checked the oil level; it's good but the light is still on.

Bad sensor? Did it come unplugged? Anything else?

    Thanks in advance.

Check panel is low oil level: either low oil level, bad sensor, unplugged sensor, bad wiring (in order of likelihood). Oil light on the cluster is low oil pressure, comes on below 7psi. Oil level should come on about halfway between the lines on the dipstick.
The first car I ever rode in was an e30
