    yes ..another fuel starvation thread..

    just what the title says..

Info: new fuel pump.. (less than 2 months old..)

starvation only occurs around had left corners at speed.. (think interstate sweepers)

also when below a quarter of a tank, the car wont even start.. at all.. ended up getting stranded on the interstate once last week... i have had to resort to keeping a gas can in the trunk...:(

cliffs: new pump but now car is acting verry odd.. WTF is wrong with my car..

Tee a fuel gauge in front of the fuel rail to see what kind of pressure you have. We'll have better idea where to troubleshoot once we have that info.

What car? If a car with the 55L tank and the dual pump setup, I'd suspect a plugged crossover tube and/or a bad in-tank transfer pump. If a 63L tank with the single in-tank pump, I'd suspect a bad level sensor (less fuel in the tank than indicated), a defective in-tank siphon, or some obstruction in the fuel lines that is causing insufficient flow to operate the siphon.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

left hand corners doesn't make sense. that would push the fuel right to the fuel pump.

also 63L with single in tank pump.

new fuel tank and new pump all within the last 5 months. that makes the no start issue even weirder..it was literally totally fine a week ago. no issues at all..

could a faulty level sender really cause the pump to not function.. it seems that the only issue would be an incorrect reading of the fuel level

Edit: i see what you mean now by the bad sensor. misread..

also should be noted that new fuel lines next to the external filter were replaced on the same date as the pump

          and intank siphon?

well did some reading and the fuel pump i have apparently doesn't like it when the tank is below the 1/4 mark..not a big deal at all and a small inconvenience at worst..
