    NLA?? help me improvise

So at the moment my Gauge cluster is free balling it around in my dash board. with nothing mounting it in place, no trim covers nothing.. just straight up ugly

So i called my local bmw dealership, Both of them actually and yea none of the mounting screws for the gauge cluster or trim pieces are available, i just recently fried my previous gauge cluster by trying to mount it with unacceptable screws that sure enough screwed right into the SI board so i am trying to avoid that.. anyone know of a place that sells all the proper mounting screws for the cluster and trim pieces?. or have any suggestions as to what sizes i need for each mount point? thanks in advance bros

Found it funny that i was told Spark plug wires were NLA as well.. wtf lol

Why not buy from a part-out or jy? Can't cost more than $15 or so for the trim pieces.

you can still find the sizes of the screws I'm pretty sure from the parts list. just find a similar screw from a hardware store.

I'd recommend Bremi plug wires for stock replacements.

Man, If only e30's existed in junk yards around me, But they are like some mythical beast, Every time i call a local junk yard and ask about late 80's early 90's bmw's i immediately get told no and practically hung up on(I'm not exaggerating!) , taking rides to junk yards barely ever results in finding bmw's and if i do find a bmw its usually a completely stripped e36 vert or some late model 5 series blah. part outs, meh no luck with those either.

gonna have to find the sizes and get them from a hardware store i imagine.

Try the two yards in Billerica Mass or the yards in the Manchester area. Or post a wanted post here.

I'm sure if you contacted Levent (aka ZMBlueDevil) @Guten Parts + Service, he would be happy to help you.

Screws are 2.9mm (close to a #4) sheet metal.

I have Item 2 and Item 18 in http://bmwfans.info/parts-catalog/E3...nel_dashboard/ if you need them.

Or you could got to Lowes or Home Depot and get #4 x 3/8" screws for #2 and #4 x 7/8" (or 1") screws for #4.
