Spark Plug Wire Replacement, How Often?

I'm going to give my car a mini tune-up and I was wondering if I should replace the plug wires ( I did it about 12-15k ago).

Mine went 183k. You definitely don't need new plug wires if you did them 12k ago. Spark plugs, yes, cap and rotor, yes if it's been a few years since they were last done.

I'm definitely doing the plugs, but the cap and rotor were done like 10k ago.

so do i. it might be time to change 'em (rolling over 200k this week/next)

the IE ones are cheaper than factory, might have to do that.

            Plug wires.

Check them with an ohm meter. The high tech way is to look at them in the dark with the engine runnung. Spray them with water from an old windex bottle.

mine were pretty much toast at 170k.. cracks in the sheilding, exposed core, etc. replaced them with new bavauto 8mm wires for $125.
