    H&R red?

H&R race springs are red right?
Whats the spring rates on these springs for the 318i model?

I'm pretty sure that all H&R springs are red, not too sure though.

            What I think

thats what I mean, I seen some in white, some in red, some in a gray.

            From websites I think:
            red is race
            white is sport
gray with black ettering is oem
black with gray lettering is cup

I just wanted to check, because everyone says the spring rates are kinda stiff... but i notice very little problems for harshness... by any means, my springs feel the same (although it was a full canadain winter without driving the car between oem and H&R

            Hope someone out there knows...

                      You cant go by that.
The color of the spring depends on 2 parts.
Car it was specified for (M3, 318,cabrio, 325)
                      and
The model of spring (Race, sport, cup)

I just sold a set of Sports from an M3 that were red.
My eibach Race springs are blue iirc.
                      Below the radar...

My 318i H&R Sports were red.

If you have springs but are not sure what they are, you can always check the 5-digit part number on the spring with the website.

there were actually two different sizes of H&R sports available:

one being the 1.3 lowerng all the way around, the other being a 1.5/1.3 inch drop

the later is what i have, and these springs are red.
