    Battery Group... BCI

    What the hell battery group works well for e30?

    Im finding all things for answers. But nothing definative.

      48 or 49 will work, AFAIK (going on memory, so this could be wrong....).

      The 49 is the same width + height as the 48, but it's like 3 inches longer, it will fit right in the E30 trunk mount battery tray, they've even made a hold down hole for it to fit. Might be a bit heavier, but you should be able to get a group 49 for the same price as a 48, and it will have 100-200 more CCA's and probably last longer.

      EDIT: the numbers given above are correct, but it seems that some mfg's are using different numbering and the 48 is also called a 91, the 49 is also called a 93. SOOOOOOOO, get a 48/91 or 49/93. :)
