Need some suggestions on my radio-antenna.

Today I removed the antenna for painting of the rear of the car, and I had a thought about removing it all together, and have an internal antenna instead, like on the E36.

Has anyone done something like this, and could maybe help me with some of the unseen problems that may have occurred?

I reckon I will need a signal booster of some sort?

Ya, I know my grammar suck, but I can hardly understand some of you sometimes, and somehow I don´t think it´s my fault..

    You lazy buggers...

Isn´t there anyone who has done something similar?

I could go electric, but it´s so eighties.

Sometimes I prefer listening to the radio, because then I don´t have a clue of what the next song is.
And I don´t like the Ipod-thing, because I have to have it with me every time I drive. I already have a mp3-stereo in the car for that kind of thing

As we say here: Blääääää... That just looks nasty.

Went to the scrapyard and bought some parts to the radio today.

Also had some time to yank out the old gear lever. Still need som bushings to mount the Z3 1.9-lever.

So you are making your radio short shift? Great idea! If you hold the gearshift just right, you can hear Cleveland.

                      Cleveland rocks, you know.

Get busy on that nubby antenna and shifter.

I don´t even now how to answer to that. Sure made me laugh though.

I´m trying to keep the posting down a bit. That's why I posted shortshift-kit in the pic. I´m also putting in all the wiring for my new doors with electric windows. And I´m doing all this while the car is being welded, so there´s plenty of space to do all this crap.

                            Well, yes and no.
I obviously can´t use the rear window with the inbedded antenna wire, so I will have to do something about that. Maybe run a thin wire at the top of the rear window. I´ll fiddle with it some, and we´ll see.

But the rest should work just fine.
