would the wires for the rear defrost work?!?! just a thought

If they haven´t burned out already, I can´t see why it shouldn´t work.
But I´m not promising anything. I can´t remember how it all looks from the inside of the window, so I´ll have to take a look at that on monday when I go and continue working on the car.

I´m not sure I´m going to try it though, because I´m not all too happy about removing a functioning part of the car. And since this is Sweden, I´m probably going to use the rear defogger at some time.

But the car is meant to be a summer car only, so maybe I´ll try it at the end anyway.

digging up an old thread here, was looking at the e30 tech article about the e36 318ti antenna base and the fella on there said you dont need the bracket to hold the base since the antenna screws on and will hold it. Anyone else try this yet? I would worry the base with more mass would be flopping around in spirited driving and would tear the mount or something.
