I'm suspicious that my subframe bushings and/or trailing arm bushings are worn, but I don't experience the "thumping" sound many describe, nor does the rear feel loose at all. I hear what I'd describe as a metallic "clanking" sound when going over some medium-sized and larger bumps. Doesn't seem to happen as much at highway speed unless I hit a "repaired" area of lumpy asphalt in a concrete road surface. I also hear a slight thump from the rear when I push the clutch pedal and feel a little shake....signs of a bad diff mount? I recently replaced transmission mounts and CSB, and flex disc. These aren't parts I've ever had to replace before on any car I've owned, so I'm not 100% sure of what to look for.

Check the bolts holding the diff to the subframe....the ones on top.
I had the same clunk with the clutch engagement, and mine was the driveshaft ujoints.Originally posted by codyep3I hope to Christ you have looks going for you, because you sure as fuck don't have any intelligence.
