I personally use a Mr gasket external pump for pumping lake water into a brita filter jug for drinking water at the deer camp. 2 weeks a year plus random visits. We've been using the same pump for 13 years.

An in tank unit is a completely different story, which is why I specifically said an in-line one.

But, you're using this for radiator cooling?! You sir, need to figure out better airflow. Needing to cool it with sprayed water is not sustainabl for street use, and they'll laugh at you at a track..

I'll have to keep that in mind. Will it make any sort of pressure?

Really depends on which one you get, but even the cheapo one we use can do 3psi.

Yep, oil cooler is in the works as well

3psi isn't enough pressure for these nozzles. Also, I don't overheat on the street... or on the few times I've been on a road course either. 200* is as high as my temps ever get. Only time I have an issue is when I'm holding it pretty much WOT in 2nd gear @ 6k rpms for a minute straight. As do most other people at drift events (with nicer cars than mine, may I add) which tells me it's not just my setup.

Point is, at lower speeds my airflow does suck (you're right about that) and I'm hoping adding the shroud and this ghettofabulous water/meth sprayer will do the trick in helping me with those temps. Other than that and adding some vents in my hood I really don't know what to do.

Could you rob your washer fluild tank and pump to run for the rads cool down. Then you would have a washer button right on the side of steering wheel which makes it nice.

That's the initial plan until my pump burns out; apparently they're not really supposed to be run for more than 5-10 seconds at a time.

                Lots of options.
Bigger rad/thicker core. You can make one fit, I promise.
                Vented hood
Raise the rear of the hood. (Cowl, sssuuupppeer cheap)
Larger capacity cooling system (add tanks)
Additional radiators (wheel wells, rear mount, get creative)
                Ducted front
                Dual electric cooling fans
                Electric water pump
Angled radiator (can fit bigger then)
                More stuff I'm forgetting.

Try what I have to do in the s12 on drift days. Take off the hood altogether.

If your going to have a Dori slut, go full tilt.
