Thanks! So the is emblem was added? Should be just 325i or ic? I would love to restore this car. Dash not cracked, Typical rust not there. Looks to be solid but needs love. But if that windshield frame is structural I think I might pass. Can anyone talk me into it? Or if someone wants the contact info let me know.

The structural portion of that isn't damaged, just the sheet metal.
Last I checked, there's a beam underneath that sheet metal, and that certainly has not bent in the slightest. The top still lines up and there is no obvious unwarranted dipping.
By my standards, super easy fix. And y'all skip straight to "parts car" far too easily.

This.
I feel like I stumble into these "is it repairable" threads too frequently and see "parts car" as advice.
I estimate these damages for a living and have fixed quite a few myself. It is fixable and like Jake said, the structural beam does not look to be damaged, just the cosmetics and windshield.
I've resigned to the mindset, keep parting them, everyone else's is just that much more valuable, then when they get scarce like the muscle cars of the 60's, you will all be singing a different tune. Fuck I shoulda fixed that vert with a dent, damn I crushed a car with two spots of rust.
