      Since when do pleasure and smart mix? I kid! I did it with no regrets, plus i swear it looks like it came that way.

        I'll do some cone and an airbox when I do my rebuild, but stock works fine - seriously.

          hahahaha it is a 3" dia truck radiator hose. It was the only black hose I could find that diameter with a 45 degree bend which was require to join up with the AFM. I didn't like the look of silicon blue or red and was a quarter of the price.

          It is not as bad as it looks with only a small portion being unsupported - so it doesn't collapse under suction pressure.

          The aluminium pipe from the box extends almost right up to the afm and the same with the air filter.

            Sick clean 318 engine bay...

            K&N = Lots of hot oil sucking thru AFM/temp sensor.

            +1 for stock, with all pieces intact.

            Anybody remember flipping lid on 14" air cleaner on Cutlass/Chevelle? Yummy hot air!!

            FWIW, intake noise is GAY.

              Intake noise is gay? Does that mean my e30 likes to hear other e30's with intake/drilled boxes? I'm sorry but i enjoy the sound of my engine.
