Headunit not working after new battery installation

I recently installed a new battery on my 88 iX and now the headunit does not turn on... any ideas on how to fix it?

Well, personally I would start by seeing what fuse is for the head unit (if any) and make sure it's not blown. After that I pull the head unit out and see if I'm getting power to the pin on the connector. As with most electrical issues it's all about seeing how far the electricity is going.

100% sure its head unit fuse, it almost always happens, when your connecting the battery usually you accidentally touch it on and off multiple times when tightening the cable, leading to the fuse to pop to protect the HU from the surges it thinks its getting.

Happened to me when I replaced my starter too, all I did was remove and place back the fuses and bam it worked
                  Good luck

There is usually a second fuse in the head unit itself.
